Virginia J. Thennis

SOUTH BEND - Virginia June Thennis, 75, of South 27th Street, died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital. Miss Thennis was a former employee of Society Bank, where she was a secretary for Richard Rosenthal, who was then president of the bank.

She was born March 29, 1917, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

She is survived by a sister, Norma M. Thennis of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity
