Kathleen V. Szabo

Kathleen V. Szabo, 81, of South Bend, Ind., passed away on, Saturday, June 12, in her home. Ms. Szabo was born on Aug. 2, 1917, to John and Rosa (Katona), Szabo, and was a lifelong resident off South Bend. Kathleen was a graduate of Indiana University, and retired from the former Sollitt Construction Company after many years of service.

She is survived by two sisters, Irene (Harold) Hershman and Mary Hirschler, both of South Bend, and by several nieces and!! nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth  A. Toth; and by a, brother, Alex Szabo.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 21, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N.. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where family and friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. 

Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
