Julia (Szabo) Lichatowich

Julia Lichatowich, 47, 2410 Eisenhower Ave., died 6:15 today in St. Joseph's Hospital after an extended illness.

Born on April 10, 1916 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., she came here 35 years ago from New York.

In South Bend on May, 1941, she was married to John L Lichatowich, who survives. Also surviving are her father, Andrew Szabo, South Bend; son, Michael; daughter, Ellen, both at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Vern White and Mrs. Henry Northtine, both South Bend.

The requiem high mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, of which she was a member, with Very Rev. Msgr. Jerome R. Bonk, the celebrant. Burial will be in Fairview Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday in the Hollis Funeral Home.
