Mary (Strykul) Monroe

PORT ORANGE - Mary S. Monroe, 81, of Village Trail, a retired accountant, died Saturday at Columbia Medical Center-Peninsula, Ormond Beach. Mrs. Monroe was born in South Bend, Ind., and came here three years ago from Lakeville, Ind. She enjoyed bowling and crocheting.

Survivors include a son, John, Port Orange; five brothers, Chester Strykul and John Strykul, both of Orlando, Daniel Strykul and Joseph Strykul, both of Lakeville, and Julius Bancer, Granger, Ind.; three sisters, Anna Schilens, Phoenix, Helen Coddens, North Liberty, Ind., and Sophie Clems, South Bend, Ind.; and four grandchildren.
