Leo A. Spaulding

Leo A. Spaulding, 71, of 1124 N. Meade St. died at 10:21 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Spaulding was a self-employed accountant. He was born Oct. 14, 1915, in Logansport, Ind., and had lived in South Bend most of his life.

On Jan. 19, 1946, he married Lois Myers, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Linda Chism of Niles, Lora Spaulding and Lucille Spaulding, both of South Bend; two grandchildren; three sisters, Genevieve Herrick of Parchment, Mich., Dorothy Eichmann and Mary Lindsey, both of Corpus Christi, Texas; and a brother, Robert of Tucson, Ariz.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Riverview Mausoleum. Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions made to Memorial Hospital Heart Unit or the church
