SOUTH BEND Harold Arthur Shaffer, 83. of Winter Haven, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Monday in Mariner Health of Winter Haven of natural causes.

Survivors two sons, Dennis of Madison, Wis., and Chris of Alpharetta, Ga.; three sisters, Martha Nagy of Lakeland, Fla., Dorothy Bucknell of Sturgis and Mary Edwards-Eustis of Florida; and a brother, Donald of Dunedin, Fla.

Services were held Friday in Mitchell-Harden Chapel, Winter Haven. Welsheimer Funeral Home handled local arrangements
