Vivian (Schellinger) Fergus

Vivian Fergus, 48, of 930 Riverside Dr., died Sunday in Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. She was born in Mishawaka on April 11, 1917.

As Vivian Schellinger she was married to Francis Fergus on July 14, 1943, in Boston. He survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mary Kathleen, her mother, Mrs. Arthur A. Schellinger and a sister, Mrs. Paul McLane, all of South Bend.

She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, Holy Cross Catholic Church, Catholic Social Center and the Christ Child Society.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Hickey Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Cross Church.
