John P. Ridenour

May 16, 1917 - April 19, 2000

John P. Ridenour joined his wife of 53 years, Marjorie, in heaven on April 19, 2000. John was 82 years old. He passed away at Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center in South Bend.

Mr. Ridenour is survived by his son, John (Charlene) Ridenour of South Bend; his daughters, Jill Ridenour of South Bend and Judy Ridenour of Ocoee, Florida; as well as five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his five sisters, Shirley, Martha, Becky, Mary and Helen; and a brother, Glenn Ridenour of Mishawaka.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2000, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola, and services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2000, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home also. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in John's memory to Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Meditation Center at 17545 Dugdale Drive, South Bend, Indiana 46635.
