Susen Jane (Paffenbach) Scherer

Susen Jane Scherer, 47, of 1236 E. 151st Street, Dolton, died Wednesday. She is survived by her husband, Jack J.; one son, John Michael in the Navy; one daughter, Patrica, at home; and her mother, Mrs. Lucille Paffenbach of Chicago.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in the Community Mortuary, 14338 Indiana Ave., Riverdale, Ill. Calling hours are after 2 p.m. today. Burial will a.m. Saturday in the Highland Cemetery, South Bend.

Note: grave marker, also spelled Susen, has birth year of 1919 - which fits with the age of 47 in the obituary. Birth certificate clearly has the DOB as 11/26/16 which better fits the graduation year of 1935. Susen is found in the Senior yearbook for Central 1935.
