Ruth Laura (Ourebeck) Waechter
April 10, 1917 – October 20, 2011

Ruth Waechter, 94, of Mishawaka, IN passed away at 11:10 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at her home. Ruth was born on April 10, 1917 to the late Ralph and Anna (Skodinski) Ourebeck in South Bend, Indiana and has been a life-long resident of this area.

On November 6, 1937 at Zion United Church of Christ in South Bend, Ruth was united in marriage to Carl Frederick Waechter, who preceded her in death on January 16, 1975.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Cindy (John) Waechter; and her son, Thomas Waechter, all of Mishawaka, Indiana.

Funeral Services for Ruth will be Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615. Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery, South Bend.
