August Raymond “Ray” Meyer

Beloved husband of the late Etta Ashley Meyer. Loving father of Mary Ann (Paul) Telles and Barbara (Bill) Strobl. Grandfather of Josh (Annie), Nick, Jeremy (Jessie), Shawn, Julie and great-grandfather of Callie, Abagail, Hallie, and Chase. Brother of the late Charles Meyer, Sr. Brother-in-law of the late Mary Ellen Meyer. Uncle of Charles Meyer, Jr. Friday, September 29, 2006 age 89.

Ray served in the Army from 1941-1945, he graduated from Michigan State in 1950, married Etta Ashley in October 1950 and worked for Durban's Greenhouse in Clifton for 45 years. Ray also loved collecting stamps and coins.

Visitation will be Tuesday 6 P.M. until time of Blessing at 8 P.M. at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 3425 Harrison Ave. Burial will be in South Bend, IN.
