Glen R. Lutes

Memorial services for Glen R. Lutes, 69, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of South Bend, who died Sept. 28 at Pine Village Care Center, Cape Coral, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harding Chapel of Community Congregational Church. Cremation has taken place. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lutes retired from South Bend Lathe. He was born Sept. 30, 1917, in South Bend, and lived in South Bend most of his life.

On Sept. 30, 1939, in South Bend, he married Phyllis Alexander, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Mangum of Bloomington, Ind.; a son, Phillip of Tampa, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

He was a member of the church where he served on various boards and was a member of Council Oak Lodge 745 F&AM
