Leona R. (Hosinski) Kleiser

Services for Mrs. Leona R. Kleiser, 224 Indiana, will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Church. Mrs. Kleiser, widow of former City Controller Richard F. Kleiser Sr., died unexpectedly Monday in her home. She was 58. Mrs. Kleiser was emlpoyed in the athletic ticket office at the University of Notre Dame.
Rev. Albin Hosinski, CSC, Mrs. Kleiser's brother and pastor of St. Stanislaus Church, South Bend, will officlate, and burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today, in the Everett Ballard Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Kleiser was born Dec. 7, 1916 in South Bend, and lived in Mishawaka since 1940, coming from South Bend.
As Leona R. Hosinski she married Richard F. Kleiser in South Bend on April 6, 1940. He died Dec. 22, 1968.
Surviving in addition to her brother, are a daughter, Miss Marybeth Kleiser, a third-year law student at Indiana University; three sons, Richard F. Jr. of Palatine, Ill., Joseph A. of Buchanan and James P. of Niles; seven grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Magner, Miss Helen Hosinski and Miss Dorothy Hosinski, all of South Bend, Mrs. John Muellner of Encinites, Calif. and Mrs. William Brice of Los Angeles, Calif.
Mrs. Kleiser was a member. of St. Joseph Church.
