Frank Louis Hoffer, 66, of Indianapolis, formerly of South Bend, died Wednesday morning in Community Hospital, Indianapolis, following a brief illness. He retired from the Keebler Co. in 1979 after 32 years of service. He was born on March 17, 1917, in South Bend and lived here most of his life until moving to Indianapolis 10 years ago.

His wife, the former Anna M. Varga, survives, with a daughter, Miss Kathleen Hoffer of Indianapolis; two sisters, Miss Olga Hoffer of South Bend and Mrs. Anna Alexander of Detroit; and two brothers, Louis and Joseph Hoffer, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Matthew Cathedral with The Most Rev. Joseph R. Crowley, rector, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call 4 to 9 p.m. Friday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel, where there will be a rosary at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Asosciation or to the American Heart Association
