Earl D. Gray. 47, of 54785 Ivy Rd.. died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday in Hines (Ill.) Veterans Hospital. He had been ill six weeks. He was a former employee of the Studebaker Corp.
He was born on Oct. 14, 1917, in South Bend.
On Oct. 26. 1940, he married Eva May McNabb, who, survives. Also surviving are his father, Daniel M., of South Bend: three sons, Gary D., Michael E. and James J.. all at home, and two daughters, Mrs. Dennis Denman of South Bend and Sandra A.. at home.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Orvis Funeral Home.
He was a veteran of World War II.
