SOUTH BEND - Memorial services for Robert H. Freshley, 77, of Cleveland Road, who died at 2:30 p.m. Friday in North Broward Medical Center, Pompano Beach, Fla., will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be at a later date.

Mr. Freshley had been the owner of Basic Machine Products for 50 years, retiring in 1992. He was born Sept. 23, 1916, South Bend and was a lifetime area resident.

On Sept. 12, 1984, in South Bend, he married Georgianna Nelson. She survives with two daughters, Kathleen Fatz of Centerville, Ohio, and Karolyn King of Poway, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Linda Morrow of Mishawaka; two sons, Michael of LaJolla, Calif., and Tom of San Diego; a stepson, Mike Nelson of Goshen; 10 grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth of Mishawaka.

He was a member of Elks and past president of South Bend Hall of Fame
