Herbert Flournoy Fishburn

Herbert Flournoy Fishburn, 73, of Pensacola died Monday, Sept. 23, 1991, at his home a lengthy illness. Mr. Fishburn was born in St. Joseph, Mo. but came to Pensacola from Chicago 17 years ago. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and the Pensacola Country Club.

He was a graduate of Purdue University class of 1940. Mr. Fishburn received a degree in Chemical Engineering. He was retired from Williams Gray Company after 35 years of service.

Survivors include his loving wife, Angela B. Fishburn; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Katie Gaye Fishburn of Monroe, Ga., James and Lea Fishburn of Statham, Ga.; two grandchildren, Chris and Katie Fishburn both of Statham, Ga.; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Reece Bursey; four step-children, Jerry S. Fell, Peggy White, Becky Edmondson, Angela Hoar; 17 step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, all of Pensacola.

Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with the Rev. Father John Cassidy officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery with HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL directing
