Helen (Fecteau) Fett

SOUTH BEND - Helen Fett, 74, of Healthwin Hospital, died at 8:10 p.m. Sunday in the hospital. Mrs. Fett was a retired receptionist for Dr. Bernard Vodnoy. She was born July 17, 1917, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Aug. 13, 1938, in South Bend, as Helen Fecteau, she married John Fett. He died in 1968.

She is survived by a daughter, Marsha M. Allen of Louisville, Ky.; a son, James B. of Kalamazoo; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a stepmother, Mary E. Fecteau.

A son, Michael, died in 1971.

She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, the Elks and South Bend Bridge Club, and an original member of the Service Guild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
