Julius Prudent Dhoore

Julius Dhoore, 83, of St Paul's Retirement Home, died at St Joseph Regional Medial Center at 2:01pm Saturday, November 25, 2000. He was born on March 26, 1917, to Morris and Mary Dhaene Dhoore in South Bend IN, who preceded him in death.

On June 30, 1944, he married the former Mildred (Szczypiorski) Michalski, who died in 1991. Surviving are one daughter, Patricia (Michael) Mondovics of Granger; one son,Jim (Nancy) Michalski of South Bend; four grandchildren, Michael (June) Mondovics of South Bend, Ann Marie (Marcus) White of Milwaukee WI, Douglas Mondovics, Granger; Kevin Michalski, South Bend; one great grandchild, Michael Jon Mondovics ofSouth Bend; one brother, Earl (Shirley) Dhoore of South Bend.

Mr. Dhoore had been employed for 43½ years as a machinist at Torrington, retiring from there in 1979. He was a member of the Holiday Rambler Traveling Club.
