Kathryn (Cox) Kelley, 36, of 1105 Bellevue Ave., died at 4 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital following an illness of six months.
Mrs. Kelley was born in Rosedale, Ind. and as Kathryn Cox she married Harlowe Kelley in 1938.
Mrs. Kelley was a member of First Evangelical UB Church. She was a graduate. of Central High School and the Epworth School of Nursing in South Bend in 1938. She was a member of the in boys work committee of the YMCA and was first chief of Tojas Nation Girl Indian Guides.
Surviving are her husband; her mother, Mrs. Robert Ralston. of Rosedale; two daughters, Judith Ellen and Mary Kathryn, both at home and a son, Michael Frank, at home; four brothers, Joseph Cox, of South. Bend, Milton Cox, of Philadelphia, Pa., John Cox, of Rosedale, Ind., and Robert Cox, of Dallas, Texas, and one sister, Mrs. Frank Cherry, of Pleasant Hill, Ill.
Friends may call after noon Tuesday in the Bent & Sprague chapel, Mishawaka, and until noon Wednesday. They may call at the First Evangelical United Brethren Church, Mishawaka, from 1 p.m. Wednesday until the funeral services there at 2 o'clock. Rev. Ernest F. Roesti, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park
