Margaret V. (Chrzan) Palkowski

SOUTH BEND Margaret V. Palkowski, 75, of Grant Road, died at 1:30 a.m. today in St. Joseph's Medical Center.

Mrs. Palkowski retired from H&R Products. She was born Nov. 1, 1918, in Morris Run, Pa., and lived in South Bend most of her life.

On Aug. 19, 1939, in South Bend, as Margaret Chrzan, she married Alex Palkowski. He survives, with two daughters, Sherry Jones of Bremen and Lynn Halstead of Granger; four grandchildren; and a sister, Esther Kazmierzak of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum of St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
