MARCELLUS - Geraldine E. Szymanski, 71, 14745 Elm St., Marcellus, died Thursday at Lake View Community Hospital, Paw Paw. The body has been cremated. A memorial Mass will be recited Saturday, July 1, at 1 p.m. at Christ The King Catholic Church, South Bend, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Marcellus Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Lake View Community Hospital. Arrangements are by the Hawley Chapel, Thompson Funeral Home, Paw Paw.

Mrs. Szymanski was born Sept. 5, 1917, in South Bend, and had resided here 20 years. She was a member of the Polish Women's Alliance.

Survivors include: her husband, whom she married April 22, 1939; one son, Ronald of Jackson; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Jacqueline) Simms of Mishawaka; five grandchildren; two brothers - Arthur Chlebowski of Edwardsburg and Richard Chlebowski of Florida; and one sister, Mrs. Casimer (Irene) Nowacki of California
