ELKHART Leland J. Carr, 67, of 211 Home Ave. died today in 1 Elkhart General Hospital. He was born on Sept. 14, 1915, in Battle Creek.

On Sept. 14, 1946, he married Eleanor Humecke in Elkhart. She survives. with two daughters, Mrs. Stephen (Susan) Weaver of South Bend and Mrs. Robert (Ann) Wroblewski of Elkhart; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Marjorie) Buckley of Elkhart; and a brother, Charles of Terre Haute, Ind.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the StemmLawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Carr retired as an accountant with the firm of V. M. Ball, Inc.

He was a World War II Army veteran, having served in the European Theater, and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church
