Frances Marie Smith, 84, of Bedford, Texas died January 20, 2002. Mrs. Smith was born July 27, 1917 in Kalamazoo, Michigan and was a former resident of Wabasso, Florida. Mrs. Smith was a retired secretary and had been a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Wabasso, Past Worthy Matron - Order of Eastern Star of Florida, Sebastian Chapter 204, Past President Wabasso Women's Club.
Survivors include Son - Gerald L. Smith of Longwood, Florida; Daughter - Sharon M. Schermier, Bedford, Texas; 2 Grandsons; 1 Great Grandson. She is the widow of George (Pete) A. Smith, deceased July 11, 2001, in Wabasso, Florida.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 26, 2002 at Grace United Methodist Church, Wabasso, FL. Forest Ridge Funeral Home, Hurst, Texas, is in charge of arrangements
