JONES - Doris T. Steele, 70, 15303 Carter Lake Road, Jones, died Tuesday at Elkhart. General Hospital, Elkhart, Ind. The funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Calvin Community Church, of which she was a member.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. A wake will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements are by Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.

Mrs. Steele was born June 1, 1918, in Cass County.

Survivors include: her husband, whom she married June 12, 1939; six daughters - Vivian Steele and LaRaine Beathea, both of Cassopolis, Helen Simmons of Edwardsburg, Alma Glover of Vandalia, and Anne Brown and Lois Douglas, both of Atlanta, Ga.: six sons George of California, Bruce and Brent, both of Atlanta, Richard of Jones. and William and Steven, both of Cassopolis; her mother, Minnie Brown of Cassopolis; one sister, Theolia Hollis of South Bend; two brothers - Grandville Brown of Cassopolis and Preston Brown of Edwardsburg; 24 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren
