Dolores F. (Bourdon) Snyder

SOUTH BEND Dolores F. Snyder, 79, of Hamilton Grove Retirement Community, New Carlisle, formerly of Lancaster Drive, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the retirement home. Mrs. Snyder was a bookkeeper and secretary for the former Richman Brothers and Spiro's.

She was born Jan. 28, 1917, in South Bend.

On March 18, 1939, in South Bend, as Dolores F. Bourdon, she married Howard J. Snyder. He survives with two daughters, Sharon Vanderheyden and Jacqueline Gruber, both of South Bend; two sons, James of Brighton, Mich., and Frederick of Hilton Head, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Mabel Brannon of Anderson, Ind.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Crumstown Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
