ALICE M. (NYIKOS) MILLER, 89 died on Sunday, June 26 at Parkview Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family.
She was the daughter of John K. and Margaret (Retek) Nyikos, immigrants from Hungary. She was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, where she met her husband, Donald K. Miller. One of her projects was to paint the fire hydrants in downtown Fort Wayne. Her watercolors were used a number of times for the Christmas Card Project for Turnstone. She later became President of the Fort Wayne Artist Guild.
