Gloria J (Melton) Pertics

Gloria J. Pertics, 85, of South Bend, IN , formerly of LaPaz, IN passed away at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in her home. She was born on November 13, 1926 in South Bend, IN to Yeaman and Laura (Woodward) Melton. On April 13, 1946, she married Ernest R. Pertics, who preceded her in death on September 12, 1992.

Mrs. Pertics is survived by her daughter, Valerie L. (Arch) Milani of Mishawaka, IN; son, Rick S. (Cindy) Pertics of Plymouth, IN; six grandchildren and their families.

Two brothers preceded her in death.

Mrs. Pertics was a lifelong resident. She formerly was the co-owner of Pertics Blueberry Plantation in LaPaz, IN.

Private services will be held at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville is assisting the family with arrangements. Contributions in memory of Gloria J.
