Betty Jane Kronewitter, 49, of Warwick, N. Y., died at 10:40 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick after a four-month illness.

She was born Jan. 27, 1925, in Benton Harbor, Mich., where she lived for 28 years.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Lizzie Kronewitter of South Bend, and five brothers, Raymond of Indianapolis, Frank of Longview, Tex., and Robert, Michael and Patrick, all of South Bend. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Barbara Smith and Mrs. Illah Gillen, both of South Bend, Mrs. Catherine Terry of Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Moetta Goodling of Fort Wayne.

Friends may call at the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 7 at 10 a.m. Monday Sunday. Services, will be Monica's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Frank Kronewitter, pastor of the church, officiating
