Leonard Edmund Kendziorski

SOUTH BEND Leonard E. Kendziorski, 69, of 515 E. Monroe Street, died at 10:55 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mr. Kendziorski retired in 1990 from Sibley Machine & Foundry Corp. He was born Jan. 31, 1925, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

He is survived by a sister, Lorraine Graves of Bloomington, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9820.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Cremation will take place, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

There will be no visitation. St. Joseph Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
