Fred J. Helman Jr.

Fred John Helman Jr., of Birch Road, Osceola, Ind., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 19, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

Fred was born on May 21, 1926, in South Bend. Fred was retired from Allied Signal as a chief contract Administrator after 36 years of service. Fred was also a graduate of the Class of 1951 from Notre Dame University. Fred was an avid gardener who enjoyed all the wonderful sight of his beautiful garden.

He leaves to cherish his memories, Billie, Geoffrey J. (Kathy), Kim (Rick), Natalie and Noelle.

Cremation service will be private at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Association
