Dorothy L. "Dottie" (Dawson) Lieb

Dorothy L. Dottie (nee Dawson) Lieb, on January 24, 2013 at home. Devoted wife for 46 years of the late Francis X. Lieb, M.D., loving mother of Ann (Thomas) Frawley, Tom (Linda), Jon (Teresa), Mary (Kurt) Rautenstrauch, Matt, and Mark (Kathleen). Grandmother Dottie Lou to 19, GG to 4 and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Eldest of three daughters of the late Clinton and Mildred Dawson of South Bend, Indiana, she is survived by her sister Margaret (Hugh) Reat of Napa Valley.

She was predeceased by her sister Joan and brother-in-law Howard Emmerson.

Dottie was a dedicated Auxilian at St. John's Mercy Hospital for nearly 50 years. She was also a volunteer for her children's schools and assisted in her husband's pediatric practice. She enjoyed travel, golf, tennis and gardening, but loved spending time with family and friends most of all. Services: Dottie donated her body to St. Louis University School of Medicine. T

he family will greet friends at 9:30 am at St. Anselm Parish at the Abbey of St. Louis, 530 South Mason Road, Creve Coeur on Thursday, January 31. A Memorial Mass will follow at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Forest Park Forever or Mercy Health Foundation/Francis X. Lieb Memorial Fund.
