Harry Timothy Waite

Harry T. Waite Jr., 60, of 1101 N. Allen St., died at 5:45 a.m. today in St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness of six months. He was president of the Sprague-M. B. Skinner Co. of South Bend.

He was born April 29, 1914, in Detroit and had d lived in South Bend most his life.

On Sept. 24, 1935, in South Bend, he married Mary E. Gillis, who survives. Also surviving are seven sons, John F., William C., Michael, Peter and Mark, all of South Bend, James D. of Jackson, Tenn. and Harry T. III of Branford, Conn.; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Rybicki of South Bend and Mrs. John McLaughlin of Mount Ranier, Md.; 12 grandchildren; a brother, William F. of Toledo, Ohio, and two sisters, Mrs. James T. Carroll of Detroit and Mrs. John Waldron of South Bend.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Hickey Funeral Home, 2702 Lincoln Way W.

He was a member of the Notre Dame Club of St. Joseph Valley, the Notre Dame University Club, Holy Cross. Catholic Church, and was director of the Midwest Gas Assn., member of the American Gas Assn., the Wisconsin Utilities Assn., the Indiana Gas Assn. and Southeastern Assn
