Miss Eileen Turnock, 18-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Turnock, 726 East Miner street, a student nurse at St. Joseph's hospital, died there at 3:15 o'clock Sunday morning. She was ill 24 hours with a streptococcic infection of the throat.

Born in South Bend April 3, 1915, she lived all life here.

Surviving besides her parents are two sisters, Genevieve and Marjorie Mae, and six brothers, . William, James. Francis, Edward, Bernard and Lewis, all of South Bend.

She was a member of the society Children of Mary, of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic church.

The body will lie in the residence and the funeral will take place from St. Joseph's church at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning. Rev. J. J. O'Rourke, C.S.C., pastor, will sing the requiem mass and interment will be in Cedar Grove cemetery
