WAKARUSA Services for Virginia E. Dudley, Rosewood Terrace, Elkhart, 'formerly of Crabtree Court, Wakarusa, who died at 4 a.m. Tuesday at Rosewood Terrace, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Rieth, Rohrer, Ehret & Lienhart Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Dudley formerly worked Kresge's Dime Store in South Bend clerk/manager. She was born March 9, 1915, in Mishawaka.

On June 18, 1937, she married Earl Russel Dudley. He died March 19, 1995.

Surviving are a son, Richard E. of Nappanee; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and two sisters, Eleanor Zeltner of Madison, Wis., and Jean Bush of Elkhart. A daughter, Sue Ellen Kroger, died in 1969. She was a member of Maple Lane United Methodist Church, South Bend
