Margaret E. (Seeger) Sonneborn

SOUTH BEND Margaret E. Sonneborn, 81, of Milton Home, formerly of North Esther Street, died at 9:20 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Sonneborn retired from the presbytery of Sacred Heart Basilica. She was born Oct. 30, 1914, in South Bend.

On June 3, 1948, in South Bend, as Margaret Seeger, she married Roy L. Sonneborn. He died Nov. 4, 1991.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Sonneborn Hugus of South Bend; and a brother, Jacob Seeger of South Bend.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Basilica. Cremation will follow with burial at a later date in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd., where a rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m.
