George M. Nemeth

George M. Nemeth, 49, of 136 IN. Edison St., died at 4 p.m. Friday on arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital. He had worked for 18 years for the Studebaker Corp. and was an employee of the Seaway Container Co. of LaPorte.

He was born March 8, 1915, in South Bend.

On Jan. 24, 1942, in South Bend he married Mary Reading who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Rose Nemeth of South Bend: a stepdaughter, Mrs. Joyce Toth of South Bend: two grandchildren; a brother, John of South Bend, and two sisters, Mrs. Joan Tuske and Mrs. Elizabeth Nemeth both of South Bend.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home. Services will be a 10:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

He was a veteran of World War IT and a member of Post 8748 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars
