Clara M. (Jaworski) Labuzienski

Clara Labuzienski, 84, of South Bend, Ind., passed away at 11:01 a.m. on Saturday, January 1, 2000 in Hospice House, South Bend, Ind. She was born on June 10, 1915 in South Bend, to the late Andrew and Laura (Gorka) Jaworski, and had remained a lifelong resident.

Mrs. Labuzienski retired in 1978 as an Executive Secretary for United Conveyor Corporation. Prior to that, she was employed by St. Joseph Bank. Clara and her husband, Joseph, were also previous owners of A Palace of Flowers.

On July 22, 1943, as Clara Jaworski, she married Joseph F. Labuzienski, Sr., in South Bend. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1996. Also preceding her in death was a grandson, Scott J. Labuzienski, in 1996, and a sister, Marcia (Labuzienski) Goetz, in 1993.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph F. (Sue) Labuzienski, Jr. of Naples, Fla., and Thomas A. (Mary) Labuzienski of South Bend; five grandchildren, Marc (Christine) Labuzienski of Naples, Todd Labuzienski of Orlando, Fla., Elizabeth Labuzienski of South Bend, Andrew Labuzienski of South. Bend, and Thomas J. Labuzienski of South Bend; a great-granddaughter, Kristen Labuzienski of Naples; and by a sister, Alice (Eugene) Kochanowski of South Bend.
