NORTH LIBERTY Bernard Hudak, 77, of 28881 New Road, died at 11:02 p.m. Wednesday in his home. Mr. Hudak retired in 1970 from Bendix Corp. He was born Feb. 12, 1915, in South Bend and lived in North Liberty for 32 years.

On June 18, 1949, in Bondsville, Mass., he married Anne Wadas.

She survives with a daughter, Nancy Shafer of North Liberty; three sons, David of Annandale, Va., Gregory of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Michael of Valparaiso; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Chester of Mishawaka.

He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Walkerton. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, South Bend. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association or Multiple Sclerosis Society.
