William Kenneth Hopkins, 56, of 64545 Miami Rd., died at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital of an apparent heart attack. He was born on Jan. 9, 1915, in Angola, and had lived in South Bend most of his life.

In 1937, he married Dorothy M. Kelleher, who died on - July 5, 1966.

On Nov. 4, 1967, in South Bend he married Peggy Blachly, who survives, along with two daughters, Mrs. Wayne Huston of South Bend and Mrs. Robert F. Martin of San Jose, Calif.; a stepson, Richard Blachly of South Bend; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Larry Palmer of Bremen, five grandchildren, and a sister Mrs. William Berta of South Bend.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to g p.m. Friday in the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. J. Robert Clark, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, of which Mr. Hopkins was a member, officiating. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Hopkins was employed by the Studebaker Corp., and the Winkelnann Tool and Die Co., where he was a tool and die designer. He was a member of the Moose Lodge
