Sam H. Dixon

A memorial service for Sam H. Dixon of Stuart, Fla., formerly of Atlanta, will be at 2 p.m. July 16 at the F Presbyterian Church in Highlands, N.C.

Mr. Dixon, former president of the Monarch Co. of Atlanta, died Wednesday. He has lived in Stuart, Fla., and Highlands, N.C., since leaving Atlanta. His business career included activities in the Philippines, Florida and Georgia. He was a veteran of World War II and served as a captain in the 8th Air Force based in England.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ermee Dixon; a sister, Mrs. Nilah D. Sheehe of Los Altos Hills, Calif; and a brother, George R. Dixon of Dunwoody.

Instead of flowers donations may be made to either the Leukemia Society or the Highlands-Cashiers Hospital in Highlands, N.C
