Celia A. (Chizar) Wigent

SOUTH BEND - Celia A. Wigent. 78. of San Diego, formerly of South Bend, died Friday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Wigent was born May 18, 1916, in South Bend, and lived in South Bend most of her life.

On May 8, 1943, in Fort Wayne, as Celia A. Chizar, she married Richard L. Wigent. He died April 30, 1993.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol J. Wigent and Jane A. Grant, both of San Diego; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Julie Astone of Baldwin. Mo. and Madeline Moty of Portland. Ore.

She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Memorial services will be held June 21. Cremation will take place with burial in Highland Cemetery. McGann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
