Paul L. Castle

Paul L. Castle, 69, of 1629 Vernon St., died 9 a.m. Tuesday in his home. He was a retired employee of the St. Joseph County Welfare Department.

Born on March 25, 1915, in South Bend, he lived here all of his life.

On April 25, 1946, in Elkhart, he married Barbara Jean Markley. She survives along a son, Paul Jr.; two grandchildren; and a sister, Marilyn Carney of Bradenton, Fla.

There will be no services or visitation. The body has been donated for research at Indiana University Medical Center.

He was a lifetime member of the Musician Union Local 278. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Family Support Group, 2640 Tamarac Place, South Bend, 46615. Hollis- Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., is in charge of arrangements.
