Steven Charles Bednar

Steven Bednar, 73, of Bradenton, died Nov. 10 in HCA/L.W. Blake Hospital. There will be no visitation. Private services will be held, with the Rev. Edward I D. Moretti officiating. Bradenton Funeral Home wis in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, Suite C, Bradenton, Fla. 34207.

Born in South Bend, Ind., Mr. Bednar came to Bradenton from Chicago in 1972. He was regional manager of the western division of General Acceptance Corp. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen; a son, Craig, of Wisconsin; two daughters, Karen Haifley of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Pam, of Minneapolis, Minn.; a sister, Clair Szymanowski, of Indiana; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
