Funeral services for Mary Ruth Brown, 77, of 14991 Gardner Rd., Niles, were at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Swem Funeral Home by the Rev. Father Steven Schuneman of Trinity Episcopal Church, Niles. Burial was at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.

Mrs. Brown died at 2:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, Ind. She was born Feb. 11, 1914 in South Bend, Ind.

A homemaker, she was a lifetime resident of the arca. On Nov. 18, 1933 in South Bend, she married Dick D. Brown, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Salley Rollf of Galien and Carol Schlutt of Bridgman; a brother, Joseph Barker of Niles; two sisters, Helen Barker of Edwardsburg and Winnie Rainier of Mishawaka, ind.; six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
