Geraldine (White) Smith

Services for Smith, 64, of  Frederickson St, who died at 5 a.m., Thursday in her home after an illness, will be at p.m. Monday in Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Alford's Mortuary. Mrs. Smith retired from Bendix Corp.

She was born Sept. 16, 1924, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. In South Bend, she married Justice Smith, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Karen Hubbard of Chicago, Diatra Stern of Los Angeles and Lisa Smith and Cheryl Wilder, both of South Bend; four stepdaughters, Ella Johnson of Palos Hills, Ill., Elaine Linnear of Sacramento, Calif., and Elsie Williams and Edna Dawuda, both of South Bend; a foster daughter, Bilynda Manley of South Bend; two sons, Garland and DeVon, both of South Bend; two stepsons, William of Chicago and Dr. Justice of Lafayette, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and one great member grandchild. church

Mrs. and Smith was member of the Northern Star Court of Calanthe No. 38
