SOUTH BEND - Services for Irvin T. Worden, 66, of East Jefferson Boulevard, who died at 9:01 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, after an apparent heart attack, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland. Road. Cremation will take place with burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners' Hospital for Crippled Children.

Mr. Worden was a retired contractor. He was born Aug. 20, 1924, in South Bend and spent most of his life in this area.

On March 2, 1946, in South Bend, he married Eileen M. Howard. She died Oct. 24, 1989.

She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Ann Miller and Patricia Jean Baker, both of Mishawaka; two sons, Nelson W. of Mishawaka and Andrew T. of Mesa, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Helen Barna of Elkhart; and a brother, Stuart of Ponca City, Okla.

He was a member of Unity Church of Michiana, Masonic Lodge 45, Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend, Orak Shrine Temple, and South Bend Shrine Club.
