Margaret F. (Mitchell) Stahl

Margaret F. Stahl, 57, of 230 S. Tuxedo, died at 7:22 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born May 2, 1925, in South Bend and lived here all her life. On Dec. 7, 1946, in South Bend, she married Otho Stahl, who died Aug. 24, 1977.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Isabelle DeBow; stepfather, Charles DeBow; a daughter, Mrs. Judith Laughlin; and a son, Jeffrey Stahl, all of South Bend.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood. Rev. J. Philip Klinger, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, of which she was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home.

She was a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a graduate of Central High School and Memorial School of Nursing.
