Virginia Dorothy (Marnocha) Boits

Virginia Dorothy Boits was born to Walter and Ann Marnocha on May 28, 1925 in South Bend Indiana. She attended Holy Cross Grade School and graduated from Central High School in 1943.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother and his wife Edward and Rose Marnocha as well as her sister and husband, Alice and John Kline.

On September 12, 1944 she married Walter Boits who preceded her in death along with her granddaughter, Jessica. They had four children, Thomas of South Bend, Susan Mawson (Les) of Johnson Vermont, Daniel J. of Kouts, Indiana and James of Homer Glen, Illinois. She also considered Leslie Mawson and Dr. Casey Barczyk her sons. She leaves three grandchildren, Kelly Mawson of Johnson Vermont, Daniel Boits of Orlando, Florida and Christopher Boits of San Diego, California and great grandchild, Annabelle Wells of Vermont.

She was employed by Torrington Company, Goldbaltts and Robertson’s Department Store.

Virginia loved attending her senior clubs and meeting friends for BINGO, bridge and euchre. She dedicated her life to her four children.

Services will be at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, South Bend at 1:30 p.m., with visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, August 1. Father Dave Ruppert will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
