Val Jablonski

Val Jablonski, 80, of Kalamazoo, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2005, in Rose Arbor Hospice. Val was born on August 3, 1925, in South Bend, IN, the son of Valentine and Laura (Nowicki) Jablonski. He was a veteran, having served in the US Army Air Corps during WW II.

He was a graduate of Kalamazoo College. He was a member of St. Augustine Cathedral, The Knights of Columbus and the Elks. He was an avid reader and loved to golf.

He married Betty Chiddister on September 3, 1948. She survives. Also surviving are their four children, Jim Jablonski of Chicago, IL, Jayne (Eric) Tribble of Longmount, CO, Jack Jablonski of LaQuinta, CA, and Joel Jablonski of Longmount, CO; three grandchildren, Zachary and Austin Jablonski, and Annie Tribble; and a sister, Geraldine Vicidomoni.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place
